Founded in 1958, ASH is headquartered in Washington, D.C. ASH has more than 18,000 members, including hematologists, oncologists, nurses, researchers, and other healthcare professionals. The society aims to promote the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of blood diseases, and to provide education and training to its members.
